Buying a Rolex watch is an important decision due to the high cost involved, which is why we want our customers to get only the real thing. Once a customer commits to buy a Rolex watch from us, we would insist him/her to visit the official Rolex Service Centre with us and the watch for authentication before making any payment to us. The cost of authentication at RSC is currently SGD107/-. Our policy on the cost incurred for authentication:
1) Fees borne by us if the watch is a fake or has any fake parts;
2) Fees borne by buyer if the watch is 100% genuine
This is often not the case with other dealers who gets you to buy the watch first and send it for authentication at your own leisure. If the watch turns out to be a fake, the dealer can always reserve the right to claim that the watch was genuine when he sold it to you.
